Woodbridge School needed to upgrade a tired Granwood sports hall floor while avoiding the time, cost, and disruption of full floor removal.
The existing surface had become less responsive and offered limited comfort for pupils during daily PE and sports use.
Reflex specified a Pulastic overlay system with a shock-absorbing elastic pad installed over the existing Granwood, finished with a seamless polyurethane surface.
Works were carefully scheduled to minimise downtime, with a tight turnaround to ensure the sports hall was ready for use as quickly as possible.
The refurbished hall now delivers improved comfort, enhanced shock absorption, and an EN14904-compliant finish designed for long-term performance.
A two-tone Capri Blue and Sky Blue finish modernised the hall and created subtle zoning to support PE lessons, indoor sport, and assemblies.
